A procedure, which is done if Pap smear results show dysplasia, cancer, HPV, atypical gquamous cells of undetermined significance (ASCUS) or repeated (ASCUS), or if a patient has a history of prenatal DES axposure. The procedure determines the cause of abnormalities found in Pap smear.
