Polyps Cervical
Untreated chronic infections can result in benign polyps, cervical tissue that is small and fingerlike, and can also result in urethritis or urinary infection.
The symptoms are: abnormal vaginal bleeding (postcoital, after douching, between periods, and after menopause), heavy periods (menorrhagia), white or yellow heavy discharge. The disorder can be asymptomatic. The condition is benign, easily removed by electrocautery or laser vaporization, and regrowth is uncommon.

The term refers to small, fragile, fingerlike growths on the mucosal surface of the cervix or endicervical canal. The cause of the disorder is not completely understood, it is frequently the result of the infection, chronic inflammation, or congestion of cervical blood vessels. Untreated chronic infections can result in benign polyps, cervical tissue that is small and fingerlike, and can also result in urethritis or urinary infection.
