Cervical Cancer Circumcision
For reduced risk of cervical cancer, circumcision can be performed in men decreasing risk of HPV infection and transferance to women resulting in subsequent cancer of the cervix in women and invasive surgical forms such as cryotherapy.
The rate of hpv in circumcised men is 5.5% compared to 19.6% in uncircumcised men, and this virus is responsible for up to 99% of cases of malignancies development. Such men themselves are less likely to develop genital warts and other sexual diseases.
