Cancer Cervical Type
A true cancer cervical type is caused by HPV, which can be detected early using a pap smear.
The other variety of carcinoma is uterine carcinoma of which the origin is not known. It causes rapid and uncontrollable cell growth. It is definitely more severe as far as prognosis because of its aggressive nature, whereas, carcinoma of the cervix, takes years to mutate.

Cancer Cervical Type -
HPV, Pap Smear
There are two common varieties of carcinoma in women. The most prominent, is carcinoma of the cervix, otherwise known carcinoma in situ or invasive cancer. The HPV virus commonly causes this particular variety. 80% of women with dysplasia of the cervix were found to be HPV positive. A true cancer cervical type is caused by HPV, which can be detected early using a pap smear.
