Cancer Cervical Image
A cancer cervical image is gained using a colposcopy procedure when cryosurgery is being performed.
When labs test the biopsied tissue they are looking for what is contributing to the abnormal cell growth. The most common culprit is the HPV virus. 80% of women, whom have an abnormal pap, test positive for HPV. The test that is performed is an HPV DNA test.

A colposcopy is the closest thing to a photograph of abnormal tissue. You can’t really take a picture, however the scope allows a doctor to see internally enabling them to spot abnormal tissue, which indicates cellular changes. A biopsy of the tissue is then taken, and tested further. A cancer cervical image is gained using a colposcopy procedure when cryosurgery is being performed.
